AI inside Odoo: AI that works on your Odoo data, with rules on where it goes.

We add AI where it saves real time inside Odoo, using Odoo's own AI features first, and we tell you exactly what leaves your server.

Where things usually stand

Your team still types supplier invoices into Odoo, answers the same customer questions in Helpdesk, and exports to spreadsheets to work out what to reorder.

AI can take on a fair share of that. But a general chatbot doesn't know your data, and pasting customer records into a public tool is a privacy problem.

You want specific, measurable jobs done inside Odoo, with clear limits on what the AI can see, change and send elsewhere.

What's included

  • Document and invoice capture

Supplier bills, receipts and order forms read automatically into draft records, for a person to check and post.

  • Answers from your Odoo data

An assistant that answers questions like 'which customers are overdue more than 60 days?' from Odoo itself, within each user's own access rights.

  • Suggested Helpdesk replies

Draft replies and ticket summaries based on the customer's history and your Knowledge articles. A person always sends.

  • Forecasting

Demand and cash-flow forecasts from your sales and stock history, fed into reorder rules or a management report.

  • Text and data clean-up

Product descriptions, translations, duplicate contacts and messy imports handled in bulk, with a review step.

  • Odoo's built-in AI configured

Where Odoo's built-in AI features in Enterprise do the job, we set those up instead of building our own.

  • Data and privacy rules

A written note of which fields are sent to which AI provider, how long they keep it, and how to switch it off.

How it runs

Timings are typical for a small or mid-sized rollout. Your written plan sets the real dates.

  1. 1

    Pick one job

    Week 1

We choose one task with a clear before-and-after, such as minutes per supplier invoice, instead of a broad AI programme.

  2. 2

    Data and privacy design

    Week 1

What the AI may read, what it may change, which provider processes it, and where that provider stores data.

  3. 3

    Build on a copy

    Weeks 2–4

Built and tuned against a copy of your data, with a person approving every AI action at first.

  4. 4

    Measure

We compare the result against the starting point on real work, and adjust or stop if it doesn't earn its keep.

  5. 5

    Roll out

Switched on for the wider team with usage limits, logging and a one-click off switch.

What the starting price covers

One AI feature on one app, such as invoice capture or a question-answering assistant, designed, built and tested on your data. AI provider usage fees are separate.

Founding-client price in US dollars. The free assessment ends in a fixed written quote; Odoo licences, where you need them, are paid to Odoo separately.

AI inside Odoo: questions

What data leaves our Odoo server?

Only what a feature needs, and we write it down. A typical invoice-capture setup sends the invoice document to an AI provider and gets back structured fields. An assistant sends the question plus the specific records needed to answer it. We use providers whose business terms say they don't train on your data, choose their EU or US region where offered, and can use a model you host yourself if nothing may leave your network.

Can the AI change records in Odoo?

Only if you want it to, and only within limits we agree. We start read-only or draft-only: the AI suggests, a person approves. Any write access runs through a dedicated Odoo user with the narrowest rights that work, so its actions are logged like anyone else's.

Doesn't Odoo already include AI?

Since Odoo 19, Enterprise includes built-in AI features, such as an assistant and AI-generated field values, and Odoo's document digitisation reads supplier bills. Where those cover your need, we configure them and stop there. We build custom only where your process needs something they don't do, or where you're on Community.

How much does it cost to run?

Our build starts at $1,000 for one feature. Running costs are the AI provider's usage fees, which for most small businesses are modest; an invoice-capture feature reading a few hundred documents a month typically costs tens of dollars a month, not hundreds. We estimate it before you commit and set spending limits on the provider account.

Does it work with Odoo Community?

Yes. Odoo's built-in AI and document digitisation are Enterprise features, so on Community we build the feature as a custom module that calls the AI provider, or a self-hosted model, directly.

How accurate is AI invoice capture?

Good on clean, typed invoices from regular suppliers; weaker on handwritten, low-quality scans or unusual layouts. That's why captured invoices land as drafts for a person to check, and why we measure accuracy on your own documents during the build rather than quoting a figure up front.
